If Cowboys Bring in Another RB, It’ll Be Near End of Preseason

The Cowboys have said all offseason that they're content at running back

Since before the draft, the Dallas Cowboys have been saying that they’re content at the running back position with the trio of Darren McFadden, Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar.

Two weeks into training camp, that hasn’t changed, but Cowboys assistant director of player personnel Will McClay left the door open on the idea of bringing in another running back in a recent appearance on ESPN Radio 103.3-FM’s Dennis and Friedo this week.

But they’ll most likely wait awhile before weighing that decision.

“If that decision happens, it's gonna happen toward the end of preseason,” McClay said, via the Dallas Morning News. “Running back is not like an offensive lineman, where he's gotta be in, he's gotta know the terms. If you're concerned about it,  you can make a move the last couple of weeks of preseason. We're keeping an eye on the situation. We feel good about our ability to do something at the time if there's something that needs to be done.”
