The Texas Rangers say Josh Hamilton is day-to-day after slightly injuring his groin crashing into an outfield wall.
Hamilton crashed into the wall while making a leaping, game-saving catch of Howie Kendrick's seventh-inning drive with one on and one out. The Rangers beat the Los Angeles Angels, 3-0, yesterday to complete a sweep of their six-game homestand.
Hamilton finished the inning but was replaced by Marlon Byrd to start the eighth.
The Rangers' slugger came off the 15-day disabled list earlier this week after missing 13 games with a rib injury sustained when he crashed into the outfield wall in Toronto.
