The use of the 'three-headed monster,' of 'Smash, Tash and Dash' has come into question of late, with the debate reaching the very top of the mountain as far as the Cowboys or their fans are concerned, with Jerry Jones throwing in his two cents last week on 105.3 the Fan--Jerry isn't shy in this regard--and hinting that, maybe, Barber should be closing and not starting games.
Some say that Barber should remain the starter. Others believe he should give way to either Felix Jones or Tashard Choice in the early stages of the game. Then there are those who believe the rotation should be, for the most part, scrapped. That is, almost everyone sees cause to shake up this facet of the offense a bit in some manner.

Jason Garrett is not one of that many. The offensive coordinator said recently that he was happy with both the rotation, and the results it has been yielding.
"I think you've got to be careful about saying this guy started the game so he played in the early part of the game,'' Garrett said of Jones' suggestion. "If you go back and look at the play participation throughout the year when guys have been healthy, they were all playing a lot. Marion happens to be the guy starting the game. I think Felix was in there on the second play last week.
"That is how it works, that's how we've done it."
Garrett said also that the situation presented by the game, and not some pre-conceived plan, will dictate each runner's degree of involvement in the offense.
"We want to get those guys opportunities to do the things they do best throughout the game. Marion has been a great closer for us. The one point you could make is let's not give this guy 25 touches before the end of the game. We have the luxury of doing that because we have the other two backs."
