Free Agent Target Michael Huff Signs With Baltimore

Native Texan Michael Huff visited the Dallas Cowboys on Monday

Free agent safety Michael Huff came away from his visit with the Cowboys encouraged and reportedly open to coming to Dallas, but that’s not happening. Instead, he will reportedly sign with the reigning Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, per a report in the Dallas Morning News.

The deal is for three years and is worth $6 million, but the veteran safety could make as much as $7.2 million if he meets all the performance incentives written in.

Huff’s trip to Valley Ranch came on Monday, and he was joined by a pair of other free agents, safety Will Allen and linebacker Justin Durant. Durant agreed to a two-year deal with Dallas on Tuesday, but will have to wait for Dallas to clear some cap space to finalize the contract.

With a glaring need at safety remaining and Huff headed to Baltimore, Dallas will likely look to the aforementioned veteran Allen.
