Former Cowboys RB Tashard Choice Likes Joseph Randle's Instincts

Choice spent a little over three seasons with the Cowboys from 2008-2011

Former Cowboys running back Tashard Choice likes what he sees out of Joseph Randle.

Drafted out of Georgia Tech in the fourth round in 2008, Choice spent a little over three seasons with the Cowboys, running for 1,139 yards and eight touchdowns in that time--he also provided the “Tash” in the “Smash, Tash and Dash”  running back trio of Choice, Marion Barber and Felix Jones.

This year, the Cowboys may be back to relying on a trio of running backs, in Randle, Darren McFadden and Lance Dunbar, for the first time since Choice was in town--no word as of yet if they'll have a fun, rhyming nickname--and among that trio, Randle may very well lead the way.

“One thing that jumps off the screen to me when I watch him and watch film on him is his instincts,” Choice told G-Bag Nation on 105.3-FM The Fan, via the Dallas Morning News. “More than other running backs he has great instincts where he finds the line of scrimmage, he always fits where the run is supposed to go to. Watching him play the game and watching him in person he jumps out on me. He’s faster and bigger than I thought.”
