Forget Twitter Photo, Tony Romo is Not Fat

I know what overweight is all about. I'm an expert because I am and I can tell when football players get porky.

Tony Romo is not fat. He is in shape, no matter what people want to say on social media over the photo Jon Machota and I posted on Twitter.

Romo finally met the media in Oxnard Monday and laughed at the fat memes people are posting online.

"I think I've gone through enough criticism at different times in my career," he joked. "That's the least of my worries."

The Cowboys quarterback first found out about the "overweight" speculation from his cousin Andy Alberth who always enjoys poking fun at him. They both laughed over the speculation.

Romo grinned ear to ear saying Machota of The Dallas Morning News, "doesn't have a future as a photographer."

So we can put the question to bed if Romo is in shape. He is.

"If I was that big, I'd think we'd have some talks," Romo said. "I think I'm going to be alright."

I'm watching Romo in practice and he looks in shape and is doing just fine in the weight department.
