Uh, Oh! North Carolina Faces Chaminade in First Round of Maui Invitational

The Maui Invitational has listed the brackets for their tournament and there is a very interesting game that highlights the list: North Carolina vs Chaminade.

North Carolina should enter the tournament as the #1 team in the country. Chaminade, the host school, only pulled off what may be the biggest upset in college basketball history.

It was 26 years ago when Chaminade upset Ralph Sampson's #1 Virginia Cavaliers while everyone was sleeping.

The winner of the UNC-Chaminade game will take on the winner of Oregon-Alabama.

Another interesting first round matchup will be when Notre Dame faces Indiana. That seems like a pretty tough first round match for both squads until you remember that the Hoosiers don't really have anyone on their roster. Still, it pits the two most popular schools in that state. Texas or St. Joseph's will play the winner.
