Texas Tech got blown out in the first half by Nebraska and never could catch up. Nebraska got a big first half from Alex Marics and just cruised the rest of the way to a 73-62 win
Like the previous game for Texas Tech, the Red Raiders came out strong at first and then faded quickly.
Obviously there wouldn't be a lot of interest in two teams that are 3-5 in the Big 12, but for the curiosity of Pat Knight taking over the head coaching duties with the resignation of Bob Knight.
Dad didn't exactly leave his son in a great situation to notch an early win. The first two games were on the road and the next one will be home against K-State. Tough love, I guess you couldn't expect anything else from Bobby Knight.
