Florida Will Have to Beat Oklahoma Without Chris Rainey

Florida and Oklahoma are tied 7-7 at halftime, but Florida can't be feeling good heading into the second half: The Gators know that if they are going to win the BCS National Championship Game, they're going to need to do it without running back Chris Rainey.

In the second quarter, Rainey caught an 11-yard pass and was taken down from behind (in what could have been called a horse collar tackle) and fell awkwardly on his leg. He appeared to have an ankle or knee injury and stayed down for a couple of minutes before he was taken to the locker room.

Fox reported that Rainey is "questionable," but judging from the way his leg bent under his body, the fact that he had to be carted off the field and the look on his face, it seems highly unlikely that he could return. That's a big loss for the Gators.
