BCS National Championship Game: Major Wright Nearly Decapitates Manny Johnson

It took all of a minute for the BCS National Championship's biggest hit award to be claimed by Florida safety Major Wright.

On Oklahoma's third play from scrimmage, Sam Bradford tried to hit Manny Johnson on a deep route down the left sideline. Bradford laid a nice pass in to Johnson -- but the ball got there at almost the exact instance that Wright came flying over and absolutely demolished Johnson, forcing an incompletion.

Wright later picked off Bradford just before halftime, but this play is more fun to watch.
