The annual NFL Experience sports the NFL Shop, the largest NFL memorabilia shop in the world, as well as interactive games in which you can physically do everything players do and a children's zone that gives kids a taste of what it takes to play football.

The event also has exhibits that have everything from hanging out in your favorite team's locker to a mini-Hall of Fame display that lets you walk through the game's history learning more about the greatest to ever play.

Organizers say this year's event could draw its largest crowd ever.

"There's never been a Super Bowl in this market, so you've got people coming from all around the region just to be part of the experience," said Mike Denton, director of the NFL Shop.

The NFL Experience aims to give people who can't afford a ticket to the big game a chance to participate in Super Bowl XLV, as well as raise money for a youth education center in Arlington. NFL Charities will donate $1 million to the center.

About 5,000 people worked 16-hour days to get the NFL Experience ready.

Doors opened Thursday. The Cowboys' original No. 88, Drew Pearson, brought in the Lombardi Trophy as part of a special ceremony during the opening.

The NFL Experience runs through Feb. 6. Admission is $25 for adults, $20 for children ages 12 and younger.
