Dez Bryant: Nothing to Be Excited About Yet

Dallas clinched the NFC east on Sunday afternoon

The Dallas Cowboys clinched the NFC East on Sunday evening, but Dez Bryant isn’t ready to celebrate just yet.

Just a few weeks ago, after being run out of the building by the Eagles at home, it would’ve been hard to find anyone who’d predict that the Cowboys season would end with a division title. But the Eagles’ loss on Saturday--their second in a row--allowed the Cowboys to lock up the title on Sunday, and they did that in grand fashion, with a 42-7 win over the Colts.

In that game, Bryant finished with five catches for 73 yards and a touchdown.

“It’s cool, but there’s nothing to be excited about,” Bryant said, per ESPN Dallas. “We know what we’re after, and we got another opportunity. We got to go back to the drawing board and seeing where we are we’re going to stay together and we’ve done a damn good job.”
