Derrick Henry Has Pre-Draft Meeting Scheduled with Cowboys

Henry won the Heisman and a National Championship with Alabama last year

Could Alabama running back Derrick Henry be the perfect fit behind the Dallas Cowboys’ young, vaunted offensive line?

No one can say for sure at this point, but the thought is at least intriguing enough to the Cowboys that they put Henry among their official pre-draft visits, of which they get 30.

Henry told NFL Network’s NFL HQ recently that the Cowboys are one of three teams he’s scheduled pre-draft meetings with, the others being the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks.

I’m going to the facilities and meeting with them," Henry said.

The Cowboys have already met with Ohio State’s Ezekiel Elliott, pretty much universally considered the best back in the class of 2016.
