The Dallas Cowboys have been looking for secondary help in free agency and, this week, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, that will bring safety Dashon Goldson to Valley Ranch for a visit.
Goldson started 15 games for the Washington Redskins in 2015, and posted 110 tackles, three passes defended and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown.
He was released by the Redskins last week.
Goldson started his career as a fourth round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2007 and, with the Niners, he went to a pair of Pro Bowls, made an All-Pro team and was an NFC Champion in 2012. He departed San Francisco the following season for Tampa Bay, where he spent two seasons before moving on to Washington.
