Ahead of their home opener Saturday night against the Timberwolves, the Dallas Mavericks will host a Party on the Plaza from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The party is open to all fans "to get rowdy, proud and loud for the game and will include food and drink specials, life-size board games, a digital photo booth, live broadcast from FOX Sports Southwest and visits from Mavs Entertainers including MavsMan, Champ, Mavs Dancers, ManiAACs and the Mavs Drumline."
FOX Sports Southwest will broadcast a special 90-minute edition of Mavericks Live pregame from the plaza beginning at 6 p.m. Dallas Mavericks Legends Derek Harper and Rolando Blackman are scheduled to join the live show as guests.
Fans are encouraged to dress in their best Mavs gear, make posters, and show off their MFFL spirit throughout.
The team said in a statement as fans explore the plaza, walk the blue carpet, and take their picture with larger than life player walls and the famous D_RK letters. There also will be jumbo size board games, including Jenga, Connect4, cornhole, Pop-A-Shot inflatables and free haircuts courtesy of MVRCK by Mitch.
Every fan who attends the game will receive a unique Mavs home opener T-shirt and a schedule magnet.
