Cuban-Nelson Money Battle Heads to Mediation

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and former Mavs coach Don Nelson are headed to mediation to try and settle an ongoing dispute over Nelson's compensation package.

Nelson now coaches the Golden State Warriors. An arbitrator ruled last August that Cuban must pay Nelson $6.3 million, and a federal arbitrator raised that figure to $7.1 million in September.

Nelson has argued the money was owed to him from his time with the Mavericks from 1997-2005, but Cuban hasn't paid.

Nelson says the mediation will take place in Dallas.
