Both cornerback Morris Claiborne and linebacker Rolando McClain were held out of the Dallas Cowboys’ 19-16 loss to the Jets on Saturday night, Claiborne with a hamstring injury and McClain with a concussion, but the team is optimistic that both have a good chance to return for this week’s matchup with the Bills in Buffalo.
“[McClain] is not cleared yet to practice but we don’t practice until Wednesday,” Garrett said, per the team’s official website. “We are optimistic he is getting better.”
Ditto for Claiborne, who has now missed three games this season with hamstring issues.

“We will see,” Garrett said. “He's getting better and better. We are optimistic. We will take it day by day.”
On the season, Claiborne has 37 tackles and seven passes defensed; McClain has 63 tackles, a sack, an interception and two passes defensed.
