With a division championship and a playoff berth on the line, the Dallas Cowboys are leading the Indianapolis Colts 28-0 at halftime, on the back of Tony Romoβs three-touchdown first half performance.
Romo hit Terrance Williams for nine yards his first touchdown, to cap a 15-play, 80-yard march on the Cowboysβ first drive. On the first play after an unsuccessful fake punt by Indianapolis on their first offensive possession, he hit Dez Bryant on a 19-yard touchdown and, early in the second quarter, found Cole Beasley on a 24-yard catch and run that resulted in yet another score.
Romo finished the half 13 of 14 passing for 155 yards and the three touchdowns.
DeMarco Murray, who is playing with that broken bone in his hand, added the fourth Cowboys touchdown of the first half with a one-yard run. Murray finished with 40 yards on 14 carries and, after JJ Wilcox intercepted Andrew Luck in the end zone, Dallas finished the half with a 28-0 lead.
Weβll be back with the postgame when this oneβs in the books.
