The Dallas Cowboys signed wide receiver LaRon Byrd, formerly of the Arizona Cardinals, on Thursday.
A University of Miami product, Byrd was picked up by the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2012. After making the team out of camp that year, he appeared in four games for Arizona, recording one catch for eight yards and a pair of special teams tackles.
In the preseason last year Byrd suffered a concussion, was placed on injured reserve and missed the entire 2013 campaign. He was released by the Cardinals early last month.
