Colombo a Candidate for Assistant O-Line Coach

Marc Colombo played for the Cowboys from 2005-2010

Longtime Dallas Cowboys tackle Marc Colombo could be the team’s next assistant offensive line coach.

Colombo played for the Cowboys from 2005-2010 and joined the team’s personnel department last year. With O-line coach Bill Callahan headed to Washington and Frank Pollack taking over his old post, the Cowboys are suddenly in need of a new O-line assistant. Colombo is among the candidates for job.

Marc Colombo has done a great job for us,” Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said this week, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “You want Colombo on your side. We’ll figure out what to do with him, y’know? He’s fantastic. He really embraced his role in personnel and helped our team.

“We’ll work through a lot of different discussions regarding the assistant O-Line position.”
