C.J., Hamilton Have Rough Day

Josh Hamilton was spotted on crutches in the Los Angeles Angels' Arizona clubhouse, and C.J. Wilson was providing updates on his health via Twitter on Tuesday in what amounted to a pretty bad day of spring training for the two former Texas Rangers.

Wilson was hit in the head by a line drive while throwing live batting practice; after hitting the deck he was able to get up and walk off the field, as reported by MLB.com.

Like only @str8edgeracer would do, he rushed to Twitter to let all his fans know he was OK and should've caught the line drive before his head stopped it.

Hamilton left practice with a strained calf, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was on crutches, where he said he expects to remain for a few days before being re-evaluated. That has to leave Angels fans grumbling a bit, as Hamilton has talked all winter about bouncing back from a putrid debut season in Anaheim.
