Carter Likely Joining Durant as Ex-Cowboy

It appears more and more likely the Dallas Cowboys will see linebacker Bruce Carter join Justin Durant in signing elsewhere in free agency, meaning two of their three starting linebackers entering last season will be gone.

Carter had a great finish to the 2014 season, establishing another peak in a career of ups and downs, as he led all NFL non-defensive backs in interceptions, the majority of which came in the fourth quarter of tight games.

Carter is scheduled to visit both Tampa Bay and Houston this week, according to The Dallas Morning News, and is only receiving slight interest from the Cowboys.

Carter's athleticism alone will probably land him a big contract somewhere, but after the Cowboys lost Durant, you would've thought they would've made some kind of play on Carter.
