In a series of posts, we'll take a look at the Cowboys' own free agents they'll want to consider bringing back for the 2016 season.
Free agent: Jack Crawford, Defensive End
2015 stats: 21 tackles, 4 sacks in 16 games
Crawford, one of the league's only Brits, is still getting better with each passing year, something he's made obvious in his time with the Dallas over the past two seasons. He started his NFL career in Oakland and had zero sacks in two seasons (19 games).
In his two seasons in Dallas, he's improved with each year. In 2014, Crawford played in six games and had two sacks and a forced fumble. In 2015, he played 16 games and totaled four sacks. He's becoming more apt as a pass rusher from the defensive end spot, and the Cowboys definitely aren't in a position to let young, budding pass rushers walk away.
