Brent Will Be Game-Time Decision Against Eagles

Josh Brent has missed two consecutive practices with a strained hamstring

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent missed practice on Friday for the second consecutive day after tweaking his calf during Wednesday’s session, and is now a game-time decision for Sunday’s crucial matchup with the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Football is a physical game,” Brent said, per ESPN Dallas. “It’s a survival sport, so you’re bound to have injuries. I don’t think anyone plays this game at 100 percent at this time of year especially.”

Brent just returned to action for the first time in over two years in last week’s victory over the Bears. If Brent can’t play on Sunday, defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli is confident in the group they have in place.

“... We’ve got the men who we’ve had all year before Josh was up, and we just got to go out and play our gaps and be physical,” Marinelli said. “We’ve got to be physical. They’re a very physical offensive line. Very physical. And fast. They probably one of the most athletic groups that we’ll play.”
