Jeremy Mincey’s former head coach has almost nothing but good things to say about the newest Dallas Cowboys’ defensive end. Almost.
“He is really strong," said the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Gus Bradley, per the Dallas Morning News. “He is good at the point of attack. I think he has some inside rush. For us he got some pressure on the quarterback. I know I have had extended conversations with him and you do gravitate towards him. He is open-minded to listening and hearing things. And with a guy like Rod Marinelli there he will continue to improve.”
As for that caveat, Bradley says Mincey wasn’t immune from off-field distractions in his time with the Jags, but believes a change of scenery could help him in this department.
“I just think he had maybe too many distractions,” Bradley said. “To be in another environment where there are less of those I think maybe is good.”
Mincey, who recorded eight sacks for Jacksonville back in 2011, will face his old team on November 9 when the Cowboys travel to London to take on the Jaguars.
