Bradie James Still Upset Ware Had to Leave Dallas

Bradie James played seven of his 10 NFL seasons alongside DeMarcus Ware

Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James played all but three of his ten NFL seasons alongside DeMarcus Ware and, even though he had been retired for a couple years by the time Ware was released by the Cowboys in a salary cap move and almost immediately picked up by the Broncos in 2013, he didn’t like seeing his old friend go.

In fact, as happy as we’re sure James is for Ware winning a Super Bowl now, as recently as last week he was still a little upset about the fact.

Personally, I'm upset that he had to leave, as a Cowboys fan and as a former player of the Cowboys, but that's where the business comes in,” James told ESPN Radio-94.5 FM San Antonio, via the Dallas Morning News. “D-Ware is one of the great guys of the league. He's a gem of the league. You won't find anybody saying anything negative about him.

“It's not about just him as a person, it's also how he plays and how he approaches the game... You can see his game has carried over to the young guys like Von Miller and Brandon Marshall. Even (Derek) Wolfe, he wasn't even known as a pass rusher until now, because (Ware's) infectious.”

It sure looked like it in the Super Bowl: Ware and the Broncos sacked Cam Newton seven times in the victory, tying the Super Bowl record set by the 1985 Bears.
