Chargers Lead Cowboys 10-3 At The Half

The Cowboys have missed a chance at 10-points, and that's the difference right now as the Chargers hold a 10-3 lead going into the locker room.

The Cowboys opened up the game with a 31-yard Nick Folk field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

San Diego then responded with an impressive 7 play, 84-yard drive, that was capped off with a one yard LaDanian Tomlinson touchdown run. The Chargers took a 7-3 lead, and in the process, L.T. set an NFL record becoming the only player in league history to score 10-touchdowns in nine consecutive seasons. He also tied Emmitt Smith for most touchdowns in a decade with 136.

The Cowboys marched down the field on a physical 15-play drive that included 14-runs. But were stopped three times from the one yard line, including on fourth down.

Terence Newman gave the Cowboys life late in the half, intercepting Philip Rivers. But once again, Nick Folk missed a field goal and the Cowboys left points on the board. So much for the holder being the problem.

The Cowboys should be leading 13-10. Leave more points on the board in the second half, and the December issues are officially back.
