Blue Star Recap: Eagles 34, Cowboys 7

The Dallas Cowboys are once again a sub-.500 football team after an ugly night in Philadelphia, when they fell to the rival Philadelphia Eagles by a final score of 34-7.

The Eagles got the scoring started with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick to Jeremy Maclin to take a 7-0 lead and, really, they never looked back.

LeSean McCoy was responsible for the Eagles' next touchdown, a 2-yard run. He finished with 185 yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns, startling numbers considering that Dallas came into Philadelphia with the top-ranked run defense in the league.

Brent Celek caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Vick in the second quarter and finished as the Eagles' leading receiver, with seven catches for 94 yards. Alex Henery hit a 23-yard field goal late in the second quarter to make it 24-0 at half. The tide wouldn't turn after intermission.

Henery hit another field goal, this time a 26-yarder, midway through the third quarter. This was followed by McCoy's second touchdown on the night, to make it 34-0.

Dallas avoided the shutout with a 70-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo to Laurent Robinson, but that's all Dallas could muster this Sunday night as they lost to the Eagles, 34-7.

At 3-4, the Cowboys will face the Seahawks in Seattle next Sunday.
