Bisaccia Among Candidates for Titans' Vacancy

Cowboys special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia has already interviewed with the Redskins

Dallas Cowboys special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, who recently interviewed with the Washington Redskins for their vacant head coaching position, is among the candidates being considered by the Tennessee Titans for the same position, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean.

Former Titans head coach Mike Munchak was fired last Saturday after leading the team to a 7-9 record in 2013.

Bisaccia came to Dallas last offseason after spending two years running the special teams unit for the San Diego Chargers. Before San Diego, he spent nearly a decade as the special teams coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Maybe not surprisingly, Bisaccia is the only Cowboys assistant to interview for a new job thus far this offseason. Because the interview is for a head coaching position--as in the case with Washington--the Titans don’t need the Cowboys’ permission to talk to Bisaccia. Rather, they just have to notify Dallas beforehand.
