Bills Likely Watching Right Tackle Situation in Dallas

The Buffalo Bills are looking for a tackle, and Doug Free and Jermey Parnell are headed for free agency

It’s no secret that the Dallas Cowboys are facing a decision at the right tackle position.

Both Doug Free and Jermey Parnell are headed for free agency next month. Both started at times last year, with Free beginning the year as the starter and Parnell impressing in Free’s place for five regular season contests and both postseason games when the veteran was hurt.

According to Cory Buck of BuffaloRumblings.com, the Buffalo Bills will be watching the right tackle situation in Dallas closely, as they search for a new tackle.

“Doug Free and Jermey Parnell each played at right tackle for the Dallas Cowboys this past season as part of the offensive line that paved the way for the league’s leading rusher,” Buck writes. “They are each stout run blockers and apt pass blockers, and now both are set to become free agents in March. The Cowboys reportedly assume that they can only keep one of these tackles. Whoever shakes loose in the aftermath will be worth a long look."
