Altuve Entering Series on a Positive Note

Even if you despise the Houston Astros and all they stand for, it's pretty impossible to not appreciate Jose Altuve.

The pint-sized second baseman isn't even on the uphill side of 5 feet tall, but he can absolutely rake at the plate, and it's pretty darn fun to watch. Rangers fans will get a snoot full of Altuve this week and hope he doesn't hurt them too badly.

Altuve enters the first series against the in-state rival Rangers fresh off sharing AL Player of the Week honors with Baltimore Orioles slugger Mark Trumbo.

Last week, Altuve hit .407 with three doubles, three home runs, seven RBIs, two stolen bases and a 1.336 OPS. He added eight runs in seven games against the Royals and Tigers.
