Adduci Heading to Korea

Jim Adduci looked to be a solid part of the Texas Rangers' roster last season when he made the Opening Day roster as a fourth outfielder with the ability to play first base, as well.

It quickly went downhill for Adduci, who broke his little finger early in the season, then later on suffered a concussion and never really found any kind of rhythm at the plate for the Rangers, finishing the season with just .168 batting average.

Adduci has some tools, namely speed, but he was never able to really utilize it for the Rangers last season as he had trouble getting on base.

Now, Adduci is off to Korea after being left off the Rangers' 40-man roster last week, where he'll play for the Lotte Giants in the offense-crazed Korean Baseball Organization. This doesn't mean the end of Adduci as a Ranger, but it does for at least this season.
