On Thursday, Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton and his wife, Katie, will take part in a meeting at the White House on reducing drug use.
The Hamiltons will be part of a round-table discussion with 15 other people, along with President George W. Bush.
As a former addict, Hamilton knows first-hand the struggles of drug abuse and is expected to share the challenges he has faced with addiction and how his life has changed since overcoming it.
