Tide Tops the AP College Football Poll

Alabama remains the top team in the weekly Associated Press Top-25 college football poll.

The Crimson Tide, who had the week off, received 63 of the 65 first place votes.

'Bama's record remains 11-and-0 while second ranked Florida, which received the remaining 2 first place votes, is 10-and-1.

The Gators moved up from No. 3 to No. 2 with a win over The Citadel, 70-19. Rounding out the Top 5 are Oklahoma, big winners over last week's second-ranked school Texas Tech, Texas and Southern California.
 
The second five this week consists of Penn State, Texas Tech, which was beaten by Oklahoma 65-21, Utah, Boise State and Ohio State. Both Utah and Boise State remain unbeaten this season, as does No. 15 Ball State.
 
The next 10 teams are Oklahoma State, Missouri, Georgia, TCU, Ball State, Cincinnati, Oregon State, Georgia Tech, Oregon and BYU.
 
The bottom five this week are Boston College, Michigan State, Florida State, Northwestern and Mississippi.
