Three TCU Players Will Play at the Collegiate Bowl

NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is Saturday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California

The Road to the NFL begins this week for many college football players looking to take the next step. Thatโ€™s includes three from TCU, including the straw that stirred the drink for the Horned Frogs offense.

Quarterback Kenny Hill will suit up and have a chance to shine this weekend for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The game is designed for NFL draft-eligible college players.

Hill was a dual-threat quarterback during his time at TCU. He put up solid numbers during the 2017 season, throwing for 3,152 yards and 23 touchdowns through the air. On the ground, he ran for 325 yards and five touchdowns. Hill shined bright at the Alamo Bowl against Stanford, throwing for 314 yards and two touchdowns and also had a rushing and receiving touchdown against the Cardinals.

The Southlake Carroll graduate began his college career at Texas A&M before arriving in Fort Worth. In his first start under the lights on national television in 2014, Hill threw for 511 yards and three touchdowns against South Carolina. In his first five games, he threw for 17 touchdowns.

Heโ€™ll get a chance to show he can play at the next level on Saturday. Heโ€™s one of three quarterbacks on the American Roster. Texas A&M Commerce quarterback Luis Perez will also see playing time.

Also scheduled to play in the game are TCU guard Patrick Morris and offensive tackle Matt Pryor. Morris played high school ball at Denton Guyer and was ranked the No. 2 ranked center in Texas and eighth overall nationally.

Texas wide receiver Armanti Foreman will play for the National team.
