DEA Arrests Tech Football Player

Reserve DB arrested Thursday.

Texas Tech reserve defensive back De'Shon Sanders has been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Agency.

DEA spokesman David Ausiello says Sanders was arrested without incident in downtown Lubbock about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

He said he couldn't provide any other details because the indictment wasn't unsealed.

Sanders is a junior from Hobbs, N.M., who transferred to Texas Tech from City College of San Francisco, a junior college.

He played in all 12 games for the Red Raiders (11-1) but had just four tackles. He isn't listed on the two-deep roster.
