TCU Ranked No. 9 in Final AP Top 25 College Football Poll

The Horned Frogs beat No. 20 Stanford in Alamo Bowl

TCU finished their 2017 off in style and with a move up the college football rankings.

The Horned Frogs rank ninth in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll for the 2017 season. Alabama is the unanimous number one after the 26-23 comeback win over Georgia in the national championship game.

TCU ended the season with a 11-3 overall record and second in the Big 12 behind No. 3 Oklahoma.

The Frogs has finished in the AP Top 10 in three of the last four seasons and six times in the last 10 years. TCU also reached the 11-win mark for the ninth time in the last 13 seasons.

They overcame a 21-3 deficit for a39-37 win over Stanford in the Alamo Bowl. The Cardinals fell from 15th to 20th in the final poll.

TCU opens the 2018 season at home against Southern on Sept. 1. They will then travel to SMU on Sept. 8 before facing No. 5 Ohio State on Spet. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
