Dominic Seals scored 18 points to lead Texas Tech to a 66-60 win over Colorado on Wednesday night.
Jordan Murphree added 13 points for Texas Tech (12-7, 3-3 Big 12), which held a 38-30 rebounding edge. Kierra Mallard led Tech with nine rebounds, followed by eight from Murphree and seven from Ashlee Roberson.
Texas Tech outscored Colorado (9-9, 1-5) 38-28 in the paint.
Brittany Spears scored 26 points for Colorado. Kara Richards and Alyssa Fressle added 13 points apiece.
Texas Tech led by as many as 14 points with about 9 minutes to go before Colorado closed the gap.
