Richards Returns to Ice After 10-Game Absence

Dallas Stars center Brad Richards returned Wednesday night against the Calgary Flames after missing 10 games because of concussion-like symptoms.

Richards was injured when he was hit in the jaw on a check in the closing seconds of a game against Columbus on Feb. 13. He participated in the morning skate Wednesday and was cleared to play.

Despite the missed games, Richards began the night as the Stars' top scorer with 63 points.

The Stars went 5-4-1 while Richards was out.

Dallas defenseman Nicklas Grossman sat out his 11th consecutive game because of a hip injury, but he's practicing and could be active Friday night at home against Minnesota.
