Zack Greinke is keeping an eye on the calendar.
"If the season was next week it wouldn't be a good thing," Greinke said, "but there's still a couple of weeks left."
He threw two tumultuous innings for Milwaukee and Michael Young drove in his first runs of the spring for Texas in the Rangers' 8-1 win over the Brewers on Sunday.
Greinke gave up five hits in two innings, but allowed only one run. Greinke, who was slated to throw 45 pitches and go three innings but needed 38 to get through two.
"It was bad for season time but for where we're at it's OK," Greinke said. "The next start I've got to pick it up a little more. I've got two more before it has to start feeling better and four more before it has to be all right."
Young singled off Greinke in the first, then added an RBI single, two-run triple and a sacrifice fly to finish 3 for 3 with four RBIs.
Rangers starter Matt Harrison cruised through three innings. After Carlos Gomez singled to lead off the game and Zelous Wheeler drew a one-out walk, Harrison retired his final eight batters.

"It's a different Matt Harrison out there," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "He's trying to find himself a windup. He never questions his stuff, it's just a matter of being more consistent in the strike zone."
Game Notes:
- Rangers RHP Neftali Feliz was bruised on his left shin when he was hit by a line drive off the bat of OF Craig Gentry during live batting practice Sunday. Feliz, last year's AL Rookie of the Year, is scheduled to start on Wednesday.
- Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre took grounders on a side field as he continues recovering from a right calf strain.
- Brewers RF Corey Hart took Sunday off after aggravating his strained left oblique during a workout on Saturday. Hart told reports he was taking fly balls in the outfield, turned for a ball and felt discomfort in his rib cage. "I felt it, so I stopped," Hart said. Hart had been expected to miss two weeks and manager Ron Roenicke still hopes to have Hart available on opening day. "He'll be day-by-day now," Roenicke said.
