Owner Jerry Jones Expects Ezekiel Elliott to Carry Heavy Workload Sunday

During his weekly radio show on 105.3 The Fan, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says they won't be easing running back Ezekiel Elliott into a heavy workload -- he's going to jump right in with 20-25 carries.[[459650663,C]]

“He’s young,” Jones said, via Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News. “I think we can use him as much as we want to.”

Elliott will need that many carries if he hopes to win his bet against Eric Dickerson -- where he's promised over 200 yards this Sunday against the Seahawks.

A game like that from Elliott will go a long way to helping the Cowboys win, which is a must if they have any hope of playing this postseason.

Head coach Jason Garrett, meanwhile, was much more coy about Elliott's playing time on Sunday and wouldn't even confirm if the back was going to start.
