North Texas Snaps 9-Game Losing Streak

Giovanni Vizza threw four touchdown passes to lead North Texas in a 51-40 win over Western Kentucky on Saturday.

The Mean Green (1-8, 1-4 Sun Belt Conference) snapped a nine-game losing streak, which was the longest in the country. Washington's 10 straight losses is now the longest.

This was North Texas' first win on the road in 22 games since defeating Louisiana-Lafayette 16-7 in 2006.

Vizza completed 23 of 37 passes for 214 yards, and Cam Montgomery added 131 yards and a score on 21 carries for the Mean Green (1-8, 1-4 Sun Belt Conference).
