A die-hard Mavericks fan from Lewisville had a once in a lifetime experience over the weekend, thanks to a line of new sandwiches.
Rebecca Valera got a chance to meet Dirk Nowtizki and watch the Mavericks take on the Knicks on Sunday after being named the winner in the “Win a Day With Dirk,” created by Dallas-based Which Wich.
In October, Which Wich partnered with the Mavericks superstar to roll out the new line of sandwiches benefiting his charitable organization, The Dirk Nowitzki Foundation. The “DirkWiches” is to celebrate Nowtizki’s 20 years in Dallas.
The sweepstakes was created where Valera and her family received VIP tickets to the game, dinner at the Jack Daniel’s club, tour the Mavs locker room and meet Nowitzki.
The Mavericks lost to 100-96 to the Knicks. They are back on the court Tuesday night against the Orlando Magic. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Dallas.
