Franco Not Discouraged about Starting Spot

Veteran Mexico forward Guillermo Franco is not discouraged about possibly losing his starting place in the World Cup to 22-year-old Javier Hernandez..  In fact, Franco was the first teammate to congratulate Hernandez when he scored the first goal in the 2-0 victory against France on Thursday. Franco also gave Hernandez a hug after the final whistle.

The 33-year-old Franco said late Thursday that Hernandez is the "present and the future of this team."  Mexico and Uruguay lead Group A with four points, and both teams meet in their last group stage match Tuesday in Rustenburg.
