Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced Friday that the club has re-signed defenseman Jamie Oleksiak to a one-year, $964,688 contract.
Oleksiak, who scored seven points for the Stars last season, appeared in 41 regular season games. Oleksiak, the 24-year-old Canadian, was the 14th overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft. He has played in 119 regular season contests since 2012.
Oleksiak has played internationally for both Canada and the United States.
