Dallas Stars Activate Tomas Vincour

Assign Francis Wathier to Texas Stars

The Dallas Stars have activated Tomas Vincour from the injured reserve and assigned Francis Wathier to the American Hockey League's Texas Stars. The Texas Stars are the primary affiliate in the AHL.

The Dallas Stars announced on Dec. 20 that Vincour, 21, would be retroactively placed on injured reserve Dec. 15. He sustained a lower body injury in a game against the New York Islanders.

The 6-foot-2-inch, 204-pound forward has played in 14 games for Dallas this season, scoring one goal and making two assists for three points. Similar to Wathier, Vincour was also recalled from the Texas Stars.

In the 5:25, Wathier, 27, spent on the ice with the Dallas Stars, he went scoreless. With the Texas Stars, he has a +10 rating in 37 games, racking up eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points.

The Dallas Stars will battle the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday at the American Airlines Center at 7:30 p.m.
