Cooper Targeted Twice in End Zone, Scores Once in First Half

The wide receiver caught three passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in the first half

The Cowboys' newest weapon on offense, wide receiver Amari Cooper, made his presence felt in the first half of Monday night's game against the Tennessee Titans catching a four-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Dak Prescott to put Dallas in front 7-0 in the first quarter.

However, the former Oakland Raider was also the target of an ill-advised throw by Prescott.

Looking for a two-touchdown lead later in the first, Prescott threw into double coverage to try to get the ball to Cooper. Instead, the pass was picked off by Tennessee's Kevin Byard.

The Titans then stormed back to take a 14-7 lead in the second quarter, before the Cowboys tied the game at 14 -- on a Prescott touchdown pass to Allen Hurns -- with under a minute to go in the half.

Cooper finished the first half with three catches for 30 yards, while Prescott was 10 of 15 for 139 yards and two touchdowns.
