Yankee Skipper May End Up in Dallas' “Honey Pot”

New York Yankees coach Joe Girardi ate lunch at Bella Restaurant and Bar in Uptown Tuesday.

He and a friend from his minor league days dined on a meal of sea bass with rice and vegetables as they watched sports highlights on television.

Our on-the-ball tipster overheard Girardi say he was thinking about moving to Dallas with his family after he hangs up his Yankee cap.

He left Bella and went to look for houses on the market in the Preston Hollow neighborhood.  Maybe he will be neighbors with Rangers owner Tom Hicks and former President George W. Bush in the "Honey Pot."  Only time will tell ...
