Brenden Morrow Excited to Join Penguins

Brenden Morrow waived his no-trade clause and agreed to spend the next few months away from his family for one reason only: to win a Stanley Cup.

The Pittsburgh Penguins acquired the veteran forward on Sunday hoping his physical presence around the net will complement stars Evgeni Malkin and James Neal on Pittsburgh's second line.

The 34-year-old Morrow arrived in his new home on Monday after spending the first 14 seasons of his career in Dallas. Morrow said it was difficult to leave behind his wife and three children but that he knows the chance to play for a team as loaded as the Penguins does not come around often.

Morrow says he has no plans to step on any toes and just considers himself a "piece of the puzzle."
