The Texas Brahmas gear up for a promotion filled weekend as they host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Friday, Dec. 5, at 7:05 PM and the Laredo Bucks on Saturday Dec. 6, also at 7:05 PM.
Friday join the Brahmas and Santa Claus for the annual Teddy Bear Toss. After the first goal, fans will toss their teddy bears on the ice to be collected and donated to the Community Enrichment Center of North Richland Hills. Santa Claus will be on hand during the game for photos as well.
The Brahmas hope to make it five wins against the Mudbugs this season, in what has become a heated rivalry. Texas has won four out of the last five games against Bossier-Shreveport. Including last year's four game playoff sweep, the Brahmas have gone 8-1-0 in their last nine versus their long time nemesis.
Capital One Puck Night will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6. The first 2,000 fans will receive a free puck as the Brahmas meet their new Southeast Divisional opponent, the Laredo Bucks. Texas won both meetings last season against the Bucks.
After the game join the Texas Brahmas and The Zach Edwards Band at Bronco's Sports Bar, located in Hurst, TX (900 Airport Fwy #166). Players will arrive at Bronco's immediately following the end of Saturday's game.
